100 Mile Race: Allagash

The checkpoint on the Can-Am 100 is at the Allagash Town Office. Spectators are welcome, though are not allowed to actually enter the dogyard where teams are at rest. Mushers are required to rest here a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 5 hours.

First In: Saturday 1:00 PM

Last Out: Saturday 7:30 PM

250 Checkpoint #1: Portage

The first checkpoint on the Can-Am 250 is in Portage Maine. Spectators are welcome, though are not allowed into the area where the teams are sleeping. Teams typically rest anywhere from 2-5 hours here.

First In: Saturday 5:15 PM

Last Out: Sunday 12:30 AM

250 Checkpoint #2: Rocky Brook

This checkpoint is not accessible to the public.

First In: Sunday 3:30 AM

Last Out: Sunday 3:00 PM

250 Checkpoint #3: Camp Syl-Ver

This checkpoint is not accessible to the public.

First In: Sunday 11:00 AM

Last Out: Monday 4:00 AM

250 Checkpoint #4: Allagash

The final checkpoint on the Can-Am 250 is in Allagash Maine at the Two Rivers Lunch Restaurant. Spectators are welcome, though are not allowed where the dog teams are resting. Mushers are required to stay a minimum of 5 hours at this checkpoint.

First In: Sunday 10:00 PM

Last Out: Tuesday 2:00 AM

Finish Line

All 3 races finish at Lonesome Pine Ski Lodge in Fort Kent.

Estimated Finishes:

  • Can-Am 30 - Saturday from noon to 4 pm
  • Can-Am 100 - Saturday from 6-11 pm
  • Can-Am 250 - Monday from 8 am - Tuesday 10 am
